Step into The Cake Lab, where baking isn’t just followed—it’s understood, tested, and tasted.

In this hands-on experience, students don’t just make cake… they explore how it works. Each participant will bake their own cake while also experiencing a live side-by-side demonstration of three different methods: a classic box mix, a “doctored” bakery-style cake, and a surprising soda-based recipe that completely changes texture and flavor.

Along the way, students learn what each ingredient actually does—from eggs and fats to liquids and leavening—so they can see how small changes create big results.

Once the cakes are baked, it’s time to finish like a real baker. Students will whip up frosting, practice color mixing, and decorate their cake to take home and share.

They’ll leave with:

  • A freshly baked cake they made from scratch
  • A real understanding of how cake ingredients work together
  • Hands-on decorating skills using frosting and color
  • Confidence to recreate or experiment at home
  • A fun, memorable “I can actually bake this” experience

The Cake Lab turns baking into discovery—where curiosity rises right along with the cake.

Step into the cupcake lab where baking turns into discovery. This hands-on experience goes way beyond mixing batter—it’s a side-by-side taste test of how simple ingredient swaps can completely change texture, flavor, and bakery-style results.

Guests will bake cupcakes from scratch while also exploring three eye-opening cake methods: a classic box mix, a “doctored” bakery-style version, and a surprising soda-based recipe that shows just how flexible a mix can be. Along the way, participants learn what each ingredient actually does—why eggs matter, how fats change texture, and what really creates that light, fluffy crumb everyone loves.

Then comes the best part: decorating. Each student finishes their cupcakes with homemade frosting, color blending, piping techniques, and their own creative flair to take home and share.
