Give 30 Mentorship Lunch N Learn
08/08/19

Join us to learn about the Give 30 Mentorship program!

Give 30 was founded by the Madison County Regional Office of Education and continues to see an increase in success as it heads into its fourth year.  In the past school year, we went from 25 to 70 active mentors by partnering with local organizations.

Give 30 mentors give thirty minutes once a week to visit their mentee during school hours.  The students in the program need a positive adult figure in their lives to encourage them. We have found when students have a mentor, they are more likely to attend school and do the right thing inside and outside of school.

The local schools currently involved are Highland Middle School, Highland High School, Collinsville Middle School, Collinsville High School, Roxana Junior High, Roxana High School, CEO Alternative School (Troy), Edwardsville High School, Edwardsville High School South, Lewis and Clark Junior High (Wood River-Hartford), Coolidge Junior High (Granite), and Granite City High School.

If this has peaked your curiosity as a great way to contirbute to our local youth, please plan on attending to learn more about the program!
