We invite you to be a part of Highland's Annual Street Art Festival held on September 19th, 2020!

This unique event is an opportunity for you to share your talent and enthusiasm in creating a work of art using chalk as your medium for a strolling audience.

This event is free to artists who are drawing. The Highland Chamber of Commerce will supply carpet pads to kneel on, wet wipes and a Square Sponsor. NEW THIS YEAR: we are encouraging artists to bring their own chalk. You'll be able to ensure that you have all the correct colors to complete your artwork, as well as help the Chamber be as in compliance with local health guidelines as possible.

Artwork is judged using a point system with points assigned based on originality, complexity, meaning, emotion, finish and overall impression.

Artists are divided into categories based on age and experience.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 winners in each of the following categories:
Professional, Amateur over the age of 24, Age 18-23, and Age 14-18.

A cash prize will also be awarded to (3) Award of Merit winners and the Best of Show winner.
