CHAMBER EVENTS & NEWS

Welcome new board member!

Hillary Held

The Highland Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Hillary Held as our

newest addition to our Chamber Board of Directors!

Hillary just celebrated her 6th Year at Highland Parks and Rec where she oversees the fitness center and group fitness classes. Among those duties, she schedules fitness center attendants, daycare staff and party hosts, planning and coordinating Young at Heart trips, organizing the PBJ Festivals and leads fundraising efforts and planning for the 4th of July Fireworks!

In her spare time, Hillary coaches the 7th grade Highland Middle School Girls Basketball Team and enjoys playtime with her dog Knox!

Hillary was previously a Chamber Ambassador where she was very active in the Chamber and worked with us on many events and helping to promote and welcome businesses. Hillary will carry this through to the Chamber as a Board Member and will continue to be a great asset to the Highland Community!

The EvUCC Auction Committee is very excited about our upcoming “Raise the Roost: EvUCC Dinner Auction.” The dinner and auction will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Highland KC Hall, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The proceeds from the auction will allow us to enhance EvUCC church and Peppermint Preschool learning programs and support our local community ministries. Your generous donation of any item, service, group dinners, event tickets, etc., will be greatly appreciated.
We feel very blessed for all the past support we have received in making our auction successful and hope that this support will continue to grow. Within the next few weeks, an auction committee member will contact you to arrange your donation.

Lipic's Engagement

February Engagement

What’s your February Engagement Calendar look like?

One thing we see every February? Teams have great engagement ideas — they just never make it

onto the calendar.

When recognition, merch drops, or appreciation moments aren’t scheduled, they get pushed aside by day-to-day priorities.

We help teams fix that by building execution calendars that connect:

relevant, seasonal moments

branded merchandise

recognition timing

internal priorities

It turns engagement from “we should do this” into “it’s already scheduled.”

If it’s helpful, I’d be happy to share how this looks for teams like yours.

Best,

St. Paul
